Last December my family lost our good friend Tom O'Hehir to cancer. Cancer effects every family at one time or another, no one escapes this terrible disease. Tom was a great guy, a tremendous friend, and most of all he loved the NFL. A retired New York City Cop, His favorite match-ups were The Patriots vs. the Jets or Giants. This past spring I was asked to paint an Illustration of Gillette Stadium in the snow to be used as one of the 2011 Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund of Boston. My daughter Danielle loved the idea and we talked about how great it would be to dedicate the card in Tom's memory, as the card would be for sale on the 1st anniversary of his passing. I asked the Dana-Farber if this would be possible and they thought it was a great idea. On the back of the card it reads: "In Memory of and for, my friend Tom O'Hehir, who loved Football".
